After receiving requests from customers, particularly social landlords, a new label has been developed allowing responsible landlords/managing agents to turn off and label their gas appliances/supply when the property is uninhabited i.e. between tenancies.
The label is designed with the tenant in mind and will alert that tenant to contact their landlord upon taking up tenancy and not turn the gas appliances/supply on until it has been checked by a Gas Safe Registered installer.
